Extraction of Novel Bioactive Peptides from Fish Protein Hydrolysates by Enzymatic Reactions

نویسندگان

چکیده

Bioactive peptides derived from fish the byproduct protein hydrolysate have wide potential as functional food ingredients. The preparation of bioactive is commonly achieved via enzymatic hydrolysis; this most preferred method because it has high specificity, fewer residual organic solvents in product, and usually carried out mild conditions. use various enzymes such proteases widely practiced industry, yet there are limitations cost a limited availability food-grade market. Moreover, high-throughput purification identification analysis these currently being studied to further understand functionality characterization peptides. This review mainly focuses on novel hydrolysates wastes byproducts. hydrolysis conditions, source hydrolysate, amino acid sequence presented, along with their corresponding methods identification. yields potent bioactivities, antiproliferative, antimicrobial, antihypertensive, antiglycemic, antitumor, antioxidative biological functions. increasing interest proteomics marine aquatic waste utilization continues due products’ bioactivity sustainability.

Novel Antioxidant Peptides Derived from Enzymatic Hydrolysates of Macadamia Protein

In the present work, macadamia protein was enzymatic hydrolyzed to produce peptides which had abundant antioxidant activities. The relative antioxidant capacity was investigated through some in vitro models such as scavenging activity of DPPH radical, scavenging of ABTS+ radical and evaluation of the total antioxidant capacity assay. Macadamia protein was characterized by methods of DEAE cellul...

Functional properties of fish protein hydrolysates from Cuttlefish (Sepia pharaonis) muscle produced by two commercial enzymes

Fish protein hydrolysates were prepared from Cuttlefish (Sepia pharaonis) muscle using alcalase and protamex methods. By conducting the Cuttlefish protein hydrolysate using alcalase (CPHA), it showed higher degrees of hydrolysis, proximate composition, yield, emulsifying activity index (EAI), emulsion stability index (ESI), foaming activity index (FAI), solubility, water holding capacity (WHC) ...

Purification and identification of antioxidant peptides from enzymatic hydrolysates of Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) frame protein.

Tilapia frame protein was hydrolyzed by different proteases, including properase E, pepsin, trypsin, flavourzyme, neutrase, gc106 and papain, to obtain antioxidant peptides. The tilapia frame protein hydrolysate (TFPH) obtained by trypsin exhibited the highest degree of hydrolysis and antioxidant activity. Three series of peptides (TFPH1, TFPH 2 and TFPH 3) were obtained by ultrafiltration of T...
